“By Appointment Only” a thriller short directed by John Faust, designed by Sara Petersen, shot on genesis by James West

I found this great location in Mentryville, near Santa Clarita, CA. It’s a turn of the century house that already had many of the elements we were hoping for as filmmakers with essentially no budget. The plaster separating from the lathes and the pealing of the wall paper were perfect for Lyle’s bedroom. The exterior was priceless and it worked perfectly for the dining room scene as well.
